Septimus Heap and Jenna Heap from the Septimus Heap series by Angie Sage.

I'm on a children's book kick and, truly, to my great surprise, this turned out to be pretty good. I'm in the middle of the third book (Physik) right now.

I guess they don't really look like 10 year olds... they're more like 12. Jenna's a princess adopted by the Heaps and Septimus is a seventh son of a seventh son and a Wizard Apprentice to boot.

I got a new set of water colors (with fancy skin color!) and tried out Kiwkewte's tutorial. I might be doing better now. Yayz.
